Services

I believe the Bible has the answers for individual’s and society’s needs.  It is not an antiquated book, it is the guidebook for  Christians and the map for those who desire to have eternal life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Lord, Jesus Christ is called Wonderful Counselor in Isaiah 9:6.  He has truly been a Wonderful Counselor to me.  When faced with a difficult personal struggle years ago, I could not find a Pastoral Counselor who taught using Biblical principles and prayer.  I am very grateful the Lord counseled me through His Holy Spirit and God's Word.  Therefore, I will be able to counsel you with His leading, from scriptures, and from life experience with the Lord.  With your willingness, I will show you how to lean on Christ when life seems to difficult to face and to find healing and wholeness in Him.

Following are some of the areas for which I provide Pastoral Christian Counseling and Discipleship:

DISCIPLESHIP for Women
Every Christian who is serious about their walk of faith needs the support and encouragement of other like-minded Christians.  My greatest desire for Christians is to see them grow in Christ and to be fruitful for the Kingdom.  I offer discipleship to women through God's Word, the Holy Spirit, and a personal relationship with Christ.  Whether you are a new Christian or have been a Christian for quite awhile and would like to grow in your relationship with Jesus, then contact me.  I would love to speak with you.  (See Contact for my email address and phone number).

COUNSELING FOR WOMEN

It is my personal belief that according to scripture, women should teach and instruct other women (Titus 2:3-5).  I provide counsel for single women, women who are considering marriage, and who are already married.  I also provide counsel for those who are mothers and for those who are not.  Below is a list of some topics for which I provide Christian counsel:

Pre-marital:  A marriage needs to be built on a solid foundation.  I help women resolve personal issues they may be taking into the marriage, what to expect in a marriage, and how to build the marriage on faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Marriage:  Every marriage is full of surprises, ups and downs.  Through Biblical precepts, faith in Christ, and life experience of over 30 years of marriage, I will help lead women to better understand themselves as individuals and how to function successfully within marriage.  I will teach them the importance of dating their spouse (even if it is popcorn and a movie at home).  Marriage was meant to be enjoyed.  It is to be a picture of the type of relationship Christ has with His Bride, the Church.  It may sound impossible, but God majors in the impossible!

Relationships:  Teaching people how to have healthy relationships and how to tell when relationships are unhealthy.  I also help counsel women who may not feel they are able to form or maintain healthy relationships

Grief:  At some point in our lives we will all face some form of loss.  Grief counseling not only helps those who have lost a loved one through death, but through divorce, a job loss, a loss of life dreams, etc.  Sometimes we even feel we have lost ourselves and cannot find our way back.  Isaiah 61:1 teaches that the Lord came to bind up the brokenhearted.  He wants to comfort you.

I prefer to counsel an individual in person, but if necessary I will counsel by phone.  It is very helpful to the counselor to administer an Arno Profile System temperament profile to each counselee before beginning counseling sessions.  This enables the Pastoral Counselor to better understand the inborn temperament of the counselee; to assess the temperament strengths and weakness; and to better understand why the counselee responds in a specific manner to certain situations.

Please see Contact for information on how to contact me for an appointment.

Note:  I do not provide medical services nor  do  I prescribe any medication(s).  I do not file for payment to any health insurance providers for the counselees.

This ministry of Pastoral Christian Counseling is completely confidential except where there may  be an indication of abuse to a child, the elderly, or an indication of endangerment to the life of any individual including the counselee.
